Who we are

Geomodifier is run by Pearls and Roses OÜ (registry code 14761524, Karu tn 39-401, 10120 Tallinn, Estonia). We are the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

What we process and why

  • Visiting geomodifier.com: our servers log the IP address, browser user agent, requested page and time to keep the service secure and working (legitimate interest). We keep these logs for up to 14 days. We use no analytics and no tracking cookies.
  • Signing up: your email address and the domain you enter, to create your account and send sign-in links (contract). We also store what we detect on your public homepage, such as its language and country.
  • Joining the waitlist: your email address, the domain you enter and the language of the page you used, so we can invite you when a place opens (steps you asked for before a contract). We keep them until we invite you or you ask us to remove them.
  • Signing in: after you open a sign-in link we set one strictly necessary cookie that keeps you signed in. It is used for nothing else.
  • The monthly AI answer check (Pro): we send your business name, your domain and the questions set for your project to the AI models listed in your workspace, through OpenRouter, and keep their answers with your project (contract). The questions carry no personal data.
  • Paying for Pro: Stripe processes your card or other payment details. We receive your name, email, billing address, VAT number if you give one, and the payment status. We keep invoices for 7 years, as Estonian accounting law requires.

Data about your website's visitors

When you add gm.js or our edge to your site, we process data about your visitors on your behalf, as your processor: page address, referring address, browser language, time, the country reported by Cloudflare, and the user agent of crawlers.

gm.js sets no cookies, and we do not store visitors' IP addresses; we use them briefly for rate limiting and to verify crawlers. You are the controller for this data, and our terms of service contain the data processing agreement. We keep this data for 13 months.

Processors

Hetzner Online GmbH (servers in Helsinki, Finland); Cloudflare, Inc. (DNS, network protection, sign-in emails, and database backups kept in the EU for up to 30 days); Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (payments and invoices); OpenRouter, Inc. (AI models: embeddings of a public page's title or quoted passage when an AI assistant sends a visitor to it, and, on Pro, the monthly AI answer check, which sends your business name, domain and questions to the providers of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, DeepSeek and Le Chat; email and IP addresses are never sent).

Cloudflare, Stripe and OpenRouter may process data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).

We update this page when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
